I adore this composition and the colours are so beautiful with the golden and the silver . I love a lot the hearts and they are 6--my day:) but i also can count 10:) i am a bit 'maluca' with numbers, lol... and in special, i love very much the little heart into the light, that it is before my eyes and jumps through my screen straight to my heart:)) You couldn't offer me better than this ... your image has so much love and so much light !! and i would like to translate all those words lol:)))))))))) It is a wonder and You did brighten my day !! This is beautiful, Helle, and a gleaming gift for dear Ana, who deserves it all. It's like a big sea creature, made of vegetables and paper-cutouts, almost like lobster mixed with chrysanthemum petals and a bursting sun. And you used those paper and print textures that I love so much. Recently you've used very Germanic calligraphics, which give an age and dignity to your collages. And the paper textures in the background are wonderfully gritty and geological---you know what a fan I am of this style of yours. And you did hearts! (For "love".) Hearts can be so corny---any greeting card section (of any store) proves that---but you did them so gently here, they're totally about love, and they're really perfect for Ana. Your border looks like Christmas wrapping paper! (And foil.) And your "Ana" has gold foil in it, with lots of dark shadow behind it, to set off your hues. It's a beautiful and rich image; and since it only got a small number of zooms, I'm sorry for the viewers because they're missing your rich detail and textures. (I think, with the holidays coming on, there will be fewer zooms, as people just forget. Ah well. Your collages are so rich---I hope one day to see them in person!) And, regarding Ana, I echo your feelings entirely! She deserves them a million times over. We're both very lucky to have her as a friend. Happy birthday Ana, and many more to come! May the light you get from images like this fill your every day. (Btw, I'll be back for a long session soon, I promise! You're posting so much 2D these days, it's a great treat. And I see that Ana loved what you did for her.)
