Description

I was trying out a couple of new models (car and factory), both free from InLite Studios and very good they are too. This was set up in about half an hour with just a few tweaks to materials, but due to the difficult lighting conditions, there was a lot of noise in the render (using Octane). Hopefully I have managed to reduce this in this final version - I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by - I'm still not posting much as still busy with a big animation project. Phil

Excellent render with very natural looking lighting! the glow in the car's headlights and the glow in ceiling lights make the image very eye-catching!

Thanks - these are post-render effects applied direct in Octane Render, so you can interactively adjust settings to suit as it is rendering!

Very nice! In this current state of render it looks like some of the images from some of the newer video games (which is a good thing). There is wonderful detail in the construction of the warehouse too.

Sometimes noise is good, you cant always remove said noise from the area before you take the shot, and sometimes I think it can add to the image :)

Yes, I see the noise, it could be perceived as dirt on the car. I like the look of this - and thanks for the tip about InLite. I have both of these models now, I'd like to give them a test ride too...

Not bad at all. I like that the incoming light from the roof (sunlight) is much brighter than the other light sources-- a great detail. Noise can sometimes be explained as film grain, right? The Octane bloom's pretty nice, too. Alas, Octane only works with nVidia gpus. I'll have to wait for the zBrush 4r7 bridge and Keyshot for PBR. Been playing with ToolBag 2, which is a realtime renderer that's crazy fun to play with. It's great for learning PBR and visualization, but rather limited in its rendering of reflections and shadows.
