Description

When I knock my own work, some of you say "it's not that bad". Trust me, you won't say that about this. I don't know when I did this. I don't know WHO I did it for. I know it's worthy of MoMA or the Tate. And no, this isn't the drawing I made for Ana, which I tossed out. Not the same drawing. Ana's too dear. I call it "Love". I also call it "Dhiagalev and Nijinsky," who were two great ballet figures. You'll see why. Still commenting! Thanks for your wonderful visits, I appreciate them all! Have a fine Sunday, all, Mark

They stand no chance of winning 'Strictly Come Dancing' if they don't get those ears in opposition. I LOVE those feet, Mark! And I am reminded of a question someone once posed on here I think "What if the Hokey Cokey IS what it's all about?"

HEHE! This is a typical Mark cartoon :-) I would be able to recognise it for a looong distance in thick foggy weather. :-D Love it. It oozes humor :)

They look so calmly serious about their dance; sheep? dogs? sheepdogs? goats? Not sure, but I do love those feet. And the ears, of course!

Oh this is brilliant, especially since I just saw Julie Andrews dancing in something rather extravagant, only I can't remember what it's called, and I didn't know that Julie Andrews did that much dancing. Seeing this afterward was a wonderful treat and I love the fact that this is, indeed, a drawing for the Ages. To be honest, I saw some stuff from ancient Rome that belongs to the same venerable lineage as this, but I have to say that the synchronized ears of the dancers is what really makes this for me. Now I wanna hear the music these two are dancing to. I'm thinking something lively and possibly Spanish or French. Their expressions are priceless. I love this.

Oh man, I love these drawings of yours. They seem so simple and yet there's so much going on. Makes me think of Barishnikov and whoever he partnered with. And for some reason, those big feet remind me of the "keep on truckin" people of the 60's!! Way cool!!!

Mark, if you ask me this is an absolutely fun presentation that warmed my heart. While you try to disregard this one as a throw away, if you ask me it has a certain charm. Not every creation has to be monumental and make a statement for the ages. Instead I think today in these stressful times we could all use a bit more fun creativity in our lives like this drawing obviously brings.

Peter Arno, eat your heart out! Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers? Marge and Gower Champion? Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron? Doodling and artistic talent taken to new heights in this nonpareil sketch, Mark. Actually, it's not that bad. Well, on second thought, it's…….

Your drawings are very fun and funny. Simple and yet they convey so much. Two doggie dancers with heart-shaped feet. They seem to be in their own blissful world, hands and feet entwined, listening with one ear but seemingly more tuned in to each other. And interesting the female has six toes.
