Description
Taken in Hartsop valley in November. The farmers and their dogs had been very busy rounding up the sheep from the hills. The flock I.D. colour is very vivid I know! My son as a boy, upon seeing his first from this area thought it was wounded!
I liked the closeness and expressions of this part of the flock.

LOL! Pink sheep! I guess that's where pink sweaters come from, eh? I also love their expressions, they look so good-natured.

An outstanding, extraordinary photo - the composition is wonderful & the pink color gives it a surreal flavor. I've never seen anything like this, so I googled "pink sheep" & found that some sheep farmers dye their sheep with food coloring for various reasons. I also found out that it apparently doesn't make any difference to the sheep as they are color blind...
