I like the elegant simplicity of this and the wonderful, warm shade of orange...more like an ocher. Great use of light and the nice slant gives this a kind of "Eastern" sort of elegance: the kind you'd see on a rice-paper print with a squiggle of calligraphy like some Expressionist painting, declaring something vaguely cryptic and wholly-poetic. I really like this; it triggers all sorts of nice associations.

Nice shot of the orangey wildflower, Melinda. I thought by the title you were going to show a navel orange, because they are the sweetest variety of the citrus fruit. And, where have you been?
