Description

This scenery might look peaceful, but I was feeling everything but peaceful at the moment of shooting. I don't know about you, but I always go on like: "Shit, the sun is sinking too fast... No, that's the wrong aperture...who the hell has raised the flash? Oh no, the sun is almost gone now...And why is the camera strap entangled in my jacket?" And so on. HDR from five shots, Nikon D200, 55mm, F=8, ISO 200 Thanks for viewing!

What a great place to be and a great shot. Look's like you got it okay, but I know what you mean about those moments. Even though you may have stood there, mentally prepared for ages, the actual moment can be difficult. It was worse in the days of film.

It was definitely worse in the film days! You were constantly aware of the fact that each press of the shutter costed you money. I love digital photography. It's wonderful that most people can afford a DSLR these days. Me too!

I agree with you. But luckily you had your camera to capture this beautiful moment.

The coloured reflections of the sky visible on the sand and ripples, the serenity of the place at sunset and the title of your wonderful capture make me wish I'd been there !
