Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

She is very pretty! And he looks honest, which is strange for a politician!

OH Yes, we have plenty of very young politicians, who never have tried to wring a cloth, who never have been working a day in their life. Coming directly from the university into politics. Some of them look like an angel, but their tongue is sharp like a razor and they are lying without hesitation, if they feel it helps their posiition. So I have learned not judge by the "shell" :-)))

you can see that I skipped a few portraits, but that's only because I don't want to stay entirely on page 2 of your gallery. I'll be back for more next time. But I'm at an hour and 40 minutes now, and this is about where my verbal abilities start to lag, and I don't want to start writing "coooooool!" and things like that, so this will be my last comment for now. But boy have I loved spending this much time with a handful of your drawings, it's really brought me close to your process and all you accomplished in this series. This lady, with the transplanted face (or hair---in the sense that you put someone else's face into her hair) is the most studied of your portraits so far. "Studied" in that it looks more like a serious time-consuming portrait, even though you may have done her quickly. And so she's a change of pace for this series...and guess what? You did her beautifully! The eyes are drawn with time and care, so the nose, lips, the lines under her eyes, etc. It feels like a slower drawing. And the hair is done beautifully around her face. (Plus, her expression is more staid---maybe the woman you drew was more staid, herself---it doesn't have the ambiguities and mixed-emotions of many of the other portraits.) The guy looks like a star-crossed lover, who came into your piece and fell in love with her. Easeful expression, straight forward; and his eyes, again, are sensitively done, so the lips and nose and the clean-cut hair. A clean cut pair of people, maybe to fit your description in your comment to Andrea (above), and a beautiful piece of drawing all around. I'll stop here, but it was a great pleasure, and an equally great journey. I'll do more again soon. But this was just terrific!
