Description
Pacifica is a 500 acre parcel of land located in Williams, Oregon which includes a nature center, a botanical garden & an arts guild. From 1978 to 1985, it was owned by Steve Miller ("I'm a joker, I'm a smoker, I'm a midnight toker", yes that Steve Miller) who built a huge barn there that included a large hall & a state of the art recording studio (which is still in use).
Though we've lived about 20 minutes away from Pacifica for over 12 years & knew about it, we never got over there until last weekend, when we went to an art show there. We only had time to see a very small part of the property, but this pretty pond was one of the features we were able to see. I should have a few more photos from our visit to post...

shimmering, and the grainy tree tops break up the light like dreamy powders. The water is like chrome or glass, and the morph from stark white to deep blues makes it a star of the shot. Quite a contrast to everything around it. The gold of the landline is like a gold-leaf 'border' which holds it all together. Fine angle too. Very thoughtfully done, Claude. A shimmering capture.

My eye is drawn to the reflections, but also to the curve of the edge of the pond and the echoing trees. Good eye, great shot!

It is a beautifully shimmering reflection pond; what a lovely capture!

A super view from up there and lovely reflections on the pond. It looks like the land falls off beyond the pond and road.
