Description
I'm just trying out a new technique here. The dark sky is from one copy, the lighter foreground from another. And finally, I'm trying masks. All comments on the post-work, positive or negative, are appreciated.
The picture was taken last year in the springtime. After reading the novel, Sarum, I really appreciated the visit to this part of England. A beautiful countryside, so full of history.

Very well done I think if you had altered the image darkness and contrast sufficiently it would match the the darker clouds perfectly my friend the blend would look more natural I am sure you had fun doing this weel done!!!

WOW !!!!!!

Here, when a storm is brewing, the light gets like this. The clouds are far enough away that the back sky is very dark, and everything ahead is actually in sunshine. It has a 3D quality about it that is quite amazing. A must see at full view!

I'm originally from Wisconsin and that type of storm lighting is very familiar to me. Also very dramatic.
