Mickey my friend, please do not be sad! Ten people looked at this post. If I got only one or two posts, I would be sad. But if I stopped posting, I would be even more sad. I stopped posting at Deviant Arts because I received very few comments. This is the best site I have found for comments, so I keep posting here. At still another more "mature" site, people send messages saying they like my work or want to chat with me, but don't comment under my posts. My feeling is to just "go with the flow." Lots of people are out shopping and spending money. Not having the time for Renderosity. Love you, Mickeyroney. Go with the flow.

Dear Mickey, i think that is become because the ebots is not working perfectly, I also have the problems a very long time. But for me it's also of the problems with our son, that i am not so much on the site here on Rendo.....I can not comment allways when we have a battle for my son's eddiction for drugs.....We try to help him in anny way....But i try to comment when i can and place a image when i can. You made a very beautiful photoshot Mickey and did also a perfect job with the photoshop.....love your beautiful image dear Mickey.

This is a beautiful piece! Part of the problem of comments is the time of year - It's Christmas and everyone is busy. But a more important question is "Why are you worrying about numbers?" Do you enjoy creating the art? Do you enjoy sharing it? Do you enjoy the comments from your friends? If you are only posting to see how many comments you get, you are doing it for the wrong reasons and will always be disappointed. I love your work and appreciate how much effort goes into each one. I mean this In the kindest and truly supportive way, cherish what you have and stop making yourself miserable because you aren't getting more. We love you Michel.

This would make a lovely tapestry, Michel! I for one always enjoy your artwork, my friend! I've noticed a downturn in activity here, too, over the last year or so. There can be many reasons, including the fact that some just lose interest and move on to other things. Some have been put off by some of the changes and continuing technical issues at this site. And during the Holidays, many folks are busy with family, and other holiday activities. For myself, as long as I can produce images which my friends enjoy; and as long as I enjoy creating them, I'll stick around. I hope you do the same, my friend.

Michel, let me say first of all that I am very sad to hear you are closing the comment to your art. That is not fair to those of us who enjoy your gallery and put a lot of thought into responding to each image. For instance this idea you had for Tapestry Wallpaper was brilliant and you did a marvelous job of bringing it to life. I especially like the way you managed to give it a vintage feel.

I use to hang tapestries for clients. I know they were worth lots of money as they were antiques from Europe mostly. your version looks just as good
