Description

On Christmas Eve in the late 19th century, a family gathers in the old neighborhood to sing carols. While a perplexed cat looks in amusement at the carolers. A mother lovingly holds her daughter's hand and listens to the child's excited talk of Christmas. Nearby a gentleman who perhaps has enjoyed one eggnogg too many is merrily on his way home to spend an enjoyable Christmas Eve with his family. Upstairs a lady retires early for the evening, sad she is all alone on this magical evening.

All figures & buidlings are from DAZ3D Studio except for the figure in the second floor window. The figures were posed & scene arranged in DAZ and exported DAZ to Vue Complete 2014. The Vue render was given additional postwork using Photoshop CC 2014 and Painter Essentials 5 to achieve a paintery look. All lighting & evening atmosphere was done using Photoshop ... a splendid xmas image my friend, i'm never been a eggnog drinker myself, i'll take some hot chocolate though. would make a mpst wonderful christmas card. Happy Holidays my friend..

Neat family orientated Chrissy scene Ken, I like the warm glow of the lights, but you can keep the snow ! LOL I really hate the cold, so if there is another Ice age, I'm stuffed ! Well done & ~Cheers~

I too hate the cold. Love Christmas, love ice hockey (used to play until I turned 51) but they have both in Texas, Arizona, Florida and California and little snow... ;-)
