Just messin around...the title comes from looking west from my place at El Paso/Juarez and Franklin Mountains today. From 50 miles away all you can see is a huge Blanket of Yellow/Grey Smog, an Inversion layer is keeping the pollution sucked down in the Rio Grande Valley.The Franklins that cut EP in Half a huge gap of nothing but Smog and then the Mountains down in Mexico sticking up above the Smog, ugly and Gross especially if your breathing it. When the Last Gasp of Air is replaced by Pollution maybe we will believe we are killing our Planet....it'll be too late though by then

Stunning work Len. Excellent job on the reflections, as well as atmosphere. Your concerns about how we are treating the planet are well justified. Glenda & I are lucky that the closest city to us is 4 hours away. The air here is quite clear. It ends up that about twice a year we have some reason we need to go to the city, it is always disgusting and I find myself looking forward to getting home even before we leave.

Indeed it fits the title in a brilliant way, Len. Brilliant, because of the great silver bubble, and fitting because it really looks like the last gasp of the earth. Maybe there a somewhere places with no air pollution, but I don't know where this is. ;-)
