70 years ago some Americans spent a Christmas in what was to become The Battle of the Bulge. Remember them always.

Excellent 'combat' Christmas card......Timely reminder and excellent dedi. Though when Patton's armour broke the siege of Bastogne and claimed to have 'come to the rescue of the 101st AB', the 'Screaming Eagles', to this day, insisted they didn't need rescuing. When the armoured boys said " but you were surrounded' the airborne reply was "paratroopers are supposed to be surrounded!!"... can't argue with that....and we should never forget...

Wonderful dedication here! :) I think about this battle a lot, actually, especially after seeing Band of Brothers. I'm a few generations removed from these guys, but they were the greatest generation, hands down. Most of us will never know, even in our wildest imagination, this kind of sacrifice.
