Martina couldn't understand it and it couldn't understand her, but she could see by it's expression it was distressed and most likely lost. After some communicating through what could only be called "interpretive sign-language" - that is it made swimming motions with it's long arms, she got that it was trying to find it's way back to the beach. It had become lost in the jungle and hopelessly turned around. So, Martina pointed the way back to the poor little thing, to which it replied "oooohhhh", realizing what it had done. It smiled at her then and headed off - back from whence it came. But before disappearing into the jungle again, it turned and made a gesture like blowing her a kiss. She still had no idea what it was, but she hoped it would come back and visit again.
