during the slaughter there, there were no gift shops. maybe some of the trees are still there, but nearly everything was made since the war including the restoration of the Alamo

Great work on the restoration and a super capture Richard, I'll search the net for more info about the battle, I don't think the movie would be a reliable source as movies tend to bend history to suit the hero's ego. Cheers Richard.. :0)
