Description

Today I got into a conversation about Trash Polka. If you've never heard of Trash Polka... check it out! But it got me thinking about doing something more... well... more this. Stepping WAY, WAY outside my box. How is it? I'll call it a pass for my first go at Trash Polka, but it's going to take lots and lots more practice. Base figure was rendered directly to grey scale, the wings were also rendered out as a separate render. I had to redo the transmap for the feathers and dropped the texture... Lux didn't like the slightly off white of the original map. Then, lots and lots of time in Photoshop. The text is from the song Beloved, which is a really heart wrenching piece by VNV Nation. If you're up for it, load it up in your streaming service of choice and give it a listen... I looped it a lot while working on this. What do you think? Should I keep playing with this? Is it good? Bad? Trash? Comments very welcome and encouraged on this one!
