I promise I'm going to do a big session here very soon...but you know how I feel about them. This pair really a PAIR, two similar angles, both women, and both with wide eyes and attentive gazes...I love the drawings thoroughly. Your facial clarity has gotten so fine, the eyes and lips are so 'present', you've delineated the eyes so well; and, in the right-most woman---because her face is in less shadow---the clarity of ALL her features is beautiful. The shading is strong too. These are intelligent looking people---something I know you can't say about the politicians you've drawn (lol) (hey, they can't be any worse than ours!), but these women have an earnest seeking-gaze, and you caught it beautifully. I love these portraits; and you know how to pair them and fit them into your space. Really fine work, helle. Once again. You'll see me here more, soon, I promise!
