Description

Vue8Frontier/Wings3D/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop A test render of my latest large ship model created in Wings3D,imported into Vue8Frontier and textured using modified Vue materials. The nebula was created using four spheres and a volumetric material.Postwork in Photoscape for a cross-process effect,in Photoshop I added signature and resized image. Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Nice! You create such great shapes for your space ships. Very distinctive.

Reminds me of the old TTA books... Grafikeer, if you're not already aware, I think Vue by default subdivides imported OBJs, softening what would otherwise be hard edges. If you double click on the imported object, it will give you options to turn that off. You can also add more edge loops in the original model (in Wings3D) so that when it subdivides in Vue, it retains the strong edge. Just a FYI.

Thanks lhumungus, I was aware of the edge loop trick in Wings, but not the info regarding Vue...I will have to check that out and see the difference it makes!
