Description

For those interested. I bought myself the Octane Render for a Xmas treat. Ouch! That hurt my wallet. But so far I'm pleased big time! I'm still learning but I have to say the learning curve has being easy for me, so far. Be warned, if you buy it, "Read the manual for your moneys worth!" Also it uses GPUs to run. So get those cards out of storage and plug them in, if you can. You have to watch your megs, so no big huge scenes. To my understanding you will need Reality 4 for those huge scenes. I have it but have not used it yet and it is cheaper too. That will be a future project. But for the time being, all my renders will be on the Octane pipeline. Enjoy! Any questions? Just ask.

Wow...the quality of the light in this is just superb. I keep noticing more details...the reflections in the eyes, the gloss of the lips... This has a great old-Hollywood feel to it. If you are having a look at this image, do yourself a favor and view it full-screen!

Gorgeous work!!!! I love Octane too, its faster for smaller thing and has more control over the transparency:) The only thing i hate is that i have to buy the product at second time to set a render farm for each PC,,,,LOL
