Description
The best test of a new plugin is to render something that you did outside of that plugin and compare. This is a re-render of Genesis Portrait DOF (http://preview.tinyurl.com/k8x8znp) in the Reality4 plugin. The lighting is a little different and I pulled the camera back a little to get the beading into the shot. This is definitely a step up from the normal firefly renders and is even a marked improvement over Reality3

A very nice portrait. You should pay attention to the sharpness on the eyes, even in full size, it is on the edge to my opinion.

ok I can see that. I was using the plug in materials right out of the box but I can see where they could use tweaking here and there depending on lighting conditions.

For those who cannot afford OCTANE render which unfortunately is me, the Reality 4 plugin is awesome. What I have found to work the best is getting the lights adjusted correctly then adjust all of the materials to the converted materials. The portrait you re-rendered is awesome!!!! 5+++++

it is still a great render, it takes a lot of time to produce a portrait, we forget sometimes that we all may not have all of the plug-in that others may have, I work with what I have, great work.

I agree. The only reason I got Reality4 was because of the awesome sale.
