At least the weather is nice and warm here.........I almost didn't post this as I felt I invaded his privacy taking this photo. After quite a bit of deliberation, I have decided to show it as a reminder that not everyone's Christmas is happy. He passed out outside St Paul's cathedral here in Melbourne. The priest brought him out the blanket and a clean jacket, and said I 'should take a photo of the real face of Christmas'. He had previously seen me taking photos of the cathedral itself.....

Our Salvation Army in Bournemouth has invited 40 rough sleepers for a meal on Christmas Day and each one will receive a rucksack with toiletries etc as well as the party. The homeless can get a meal most nights at various places in town, but it;s usually outside, so this will be special.

It does indeed show us how amazingly lucky we are, I have a full fridge and a warm house. But I think also the fact there was someone to bring him a blanket and a jacket also shows. The true meaning of Christmas.

These kind of images always show the worlds governments for what they are, selfish ignorant bastards. I am glad you posted this image mate, every citizen in every country around this globe, has a right and a duty born out of indignation to show politicians true colours. Good on yer mate.
