Description
Sterne Park has a small lake that attracts lots of waterfowl. I went there in mid December when the winter sun was low in the southern horizon. Also the day had high thin clouds. There is a turquoise painted house on the northwest corner of the park. The winter reeds at the ponds edge have a golden hue. A gentle wind caused a soft wave pattern on the lake.
I captured this Common Goldeneye female crossing the lake.
