Description
Olivia had planned the ultimate Christmas Party. The house was decorated to within an inch of its life. There was a boatload of food and drink of all kinds. She had spent the day making special Christmas cookies and candy. She had compiled the perfect music playlist for the evening. She was decked out in her jingle dress and elf boots as she put the finishing touches on her makeup. Then the first cancellation call came in. It seems she had been too busy to look outside to see the “one inch possible accumulation” turn into a full-fledged blizzard. It had caught the Highway Department by surprise and the road crews were playing catch-up and loosing. The Authorities had banned all road traffic for the next 24 hours. Olivia was NOT happy. The only good thing – she would not starve and the tree would make an interesting fire, ornaments and all.
This is one of those scenes that took over and made itself. Hope your Christmas plans go better than Olivia’s.

Poor Olivia, she would have of to make know and understand that she has a golden heart : a way to have a Gold Rush as it was in the Klondike at the end of the 19th century. Ah, when we say that the times they are a-changin' and are scattering the true interests ! ;-) You can imagine as well Teri, that I won't have been able to resist one such evening jingle dress, right?
