Description

I'm working on trying to get a deep space look - which is rather tricky if it is the pitch black of interstellar space... The craft in the British Interplanetary Societies serious design for a nuclear pulse fusion vehicle, which works by inertial containment, as the ring of lasers around the base of the hemisphere fires on the tritium pellets fired out the rear.

Great scene, Nick. Reminds me of the days when I used to work at Lawrence Livermore Labs. They were doing similar work. It was fun working around so many really smart people (LOL).

I've seen the Deadalus spaceship for the first time in a Scientific American magazine, after that on a Carl Sagan Cosmos' chapter. A great spaceship with a truly history of hope to all mankind.
