Much of central London has been decked out in Christmas decorations, getting eveyone into the festive spirit :). Here are a few shots of the many Christmas street lighting displays: Piccadilly Circus - This year the Statue of Eros appears above a pile of wrapped presents. Neal St - Christmas Lights. Southbank, Royal Festival Hall - Christmas Tree Cafe (London Eye in background). Monmouth St - Christmas Lights. Somerset House - Pano of an icerink set up in the center of Somerset House. There are other tourist attractions which serve as backdrops for ice-rinks during the winter which include: The Natural History Museum, The London Eye, Hampton Court Palace, and Canary Wharf to name a few! Carnaby St - Christmas Lights. The London Eye Coventry St - Christmas Lights. Trafalgar Square - Since 1947, each year a Christmas tree has been donated by the city of Oslo to the people of Britain, as a token of gratitude for support of Norway during WWII. This is also usually a site for Christmas carol groups during the evening troughout the festive period. Also set-up in Trafalgar Square is a Large Menorah to celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights.
