Hi, welcome to my renderosity homepage. For me, rendering is a hobby and as such my renders may not be of the caliber of some of the other wonderful (real) artists on this site. That said, I try my best and try to learn more whenever possible.
A look at my gallery will reveal a good deal of sci-fi pin up posts (to put it politely). There is of course much more to me than that sort of thing, lets just say that poser has had a tendency to lead me in that direction when expressing myself through rendering. Yes, that's the story i'm sticking to! When I started out here I rarely did postwork and knew nothing of rendering. Since then i've picked up some tricks for poser and photoshop. You can see the progress in each gallery post, which is why I like to keep all my gallery posts, good bad or ugly, as a record of just how much i've learned. Why did I get into rendering? well one day I stumbled on to Wyrmmasters homepage. From there I found renderosity, got poser, etc.. All in all however, all that I want is that people who wish it may view, comment on, and most of all enjoy the fruits of my labour when it comes to rendering. For allowing a fourm in which I can satisfy the drop of artisitc creativity in me, I am most grateful to the Renderosity staff and community.

Thank you very much!

Fuzzy filter is very fuzzy. Looks good on the sleeves (velveteen? felt?) but, for example, her left hand's out of focus looking. Otherwise solid enough and it's always good to have more BEIP, if only peripherally.
Giolon
Merry Christmas to you too! I thought you had dropped off the rendering earth like I have! Followed the link, but it requires registration. Don't want to register :-/ Jolene's face is kind of weirdly out of focus. I find the border outlining a little weird too. A super quick photoshop?

Beautiful Christmas card, outstanding work! Merry Christmas!

@Beretta and Giolon: yeah when I started the render I wanted it to look somewhat photorealistic, so I jacked up the dof, a little too high apparently. Then once I got it into photoshop I changed my mind and applied a bunch of filters to try to make it look like an old timey Christmas card. Admittedly, the result it less than the best of both worlds. Ah well, lesson learned for next time. Also, I have one of the other variants at my deviant art gallery if you are interested.
