Description

Please Zoom In.. A new model for Vue, I wanted to do something nice for my French modeling friend Alain Bouchet who some will know as Nationale7 or 3DClassic. The cars and planes shown here are just a few of what he and a fellow French modeler have created. In a few days you will see more as I finish the central wing where the planes hang. Themed around a refurbished factory for a vehicle collector, I just could not leave it as an interior only. Resting on one of 4 canal docks, to allow for ships or train displays, the model has 72 lights for both day and night scenes. I am still considering if a Poser version is worth it. I'm not a scene composer in Poser, DAZ or Carrara, so I don't know how they would handle this much glass as well as 72 lights. While the vehicles are all Vue based models, you can find most of these as Poser runtimes here in Nationale7's store.

Looks like a place Jay Leno would appreciate. Super modeling and a very fine scene & tribute for your friend... Merry Christmas...

You are right on with the Jay Leno comment... I had just watched him do an in depth review of the newest Bugatti and how they are made now and just carried this over to using Alain's models for it.

Amazingly complex, Don, and beautifully detailed...and a fitting showcase for Alain and his collaborator's work. Awesome work.

Beautifully done work. My Vue 8.5 would crash.

Rendered in 9.5, it just takes a lot if time for all thr objects, 4,190, all the glass, chrome and other reflective surfaces, but in the long run, months from now I will enjoy the image and will have forgotten the time.

Incredible scene and beautiful render. As a DAZ user, I think my machine would simply spit this back in my face and say "Are you kidding!!!!" (LOL) Merry Christmas.

You've collected quite a few models. So, you must be the collector that is referred to. Great job. - Bob

Never thought of it that way Bob, but I guess you are right. Looking back I have had only 3-4 compositions where I may have had a car in it. An effort I suppose to do justice to all these and more in the follow up composition in a few days.

While I did this to show off vehicles and planes by Alain, in the long run it is set yo to show off trains, military hardware, for that matter any collection or even trade show event like a boat show... Image the facility full of sailboats. What everyone has not seen yet is the exterior four dock system for items outside as well as setting up other warehouse models someone might have. While an extensive model, I wanted it to provide many uses as well as a variety of camera angles and possibilities.
