My name is Pete, I started using Bryce back in 2001. I dabbled for a few years then I had a PC crash in 2009 and I lost everything.
Â
Last year I downloaded it again and attacked it with a new vengence. I do not do many scenes, my renders focos on the object created. My work is Dark and Dystopian and mostly involves metals of one sort or another.
Â
Ive been a member here since 2007, lurking, looking and learning. The images I post are things Ive learned from all of you.
Â
My art helps me escape the Madness of Reality
Â
Enjoy.

OMG ! How do you even keep track of what your doing?

I toggle between five camera views Right, Left, Front, Back and Top. I use TOP to align every piece (center) then Right our left for Height adjustments. Its like anything else, you do it for a while and your brain adapts to what your seeing. For those of you not familiar with Bryce that Yellow sphere is an additional Light, Bryce has a Natural "Sun" lighting that you can rotate as if it were time of day, for basic lighting and shadows. But sometimes you need more. A lot of my work is done without Gamma Correction (deeper richer colors that way) so additional lights are a must.

I have Bryce but never pursued it other than to mess up. I admire your work in each of your mediums . very detailed work

Thank you. Bryce is really not that difficult, I cant find my way around DAZ. I guess its all about what we get comfortable with in the early days of our work Wings3D is really the backbone of my work.

looks superb and complicated i wish i could create models like you instead i just purches the excellent models made by others , do you sell any of your models anywhere?
woodywoo
No. not yet anyway. Dave (greywolf44) helped me test a file transfer from Bryce to DAZ and I have some reading and studying to do so I can work out some issues. After that Ill upload some Freebies here on Renderosity.

Thanks, when I first started doing this, I lived in a area without internet. So I couldn't access tutorials or Forums for help, then I just began cobbling things together, and these works are the result of that lack of training.
