Description

These are some of the wood ducks I shot last spring. This male was showing off for his girl. By this time, they knew I was in the blind, but were used to me looking out and the noises I made. I spent a lot of hours there. I realized that it is almost time again to set up the blind, and I am SO far behind on my pictures. So, here is another of my favorites of last spring.

MY! Such beautiful colors! And a good shot showing them, too! I've never seen these in real life so I'm glad you've posted them! It's in the middle of winter, and you are setting up a blind? Is it to photograph winter scenes, or for the animals to get used to seeing it there? I suppose these two were so preoccupied with each other they couldn't be bothered by your presence. No problem being behind in your pictures. I enjoy seeing photos from last year! So just relax and take your time! Looking forwards to more pics! :-) PS - Happy New Year! It's already SO close!
