Ontar: We need to get to Sorcerer's Isle.
Jimbo: Why in the world would you want to go there? You don't look like the usual mean types that usually go there.
Ontar: No we have business with the Sorcerer.
Jimbo: Then this is your lucky day. That clipper out there is headed for Sorcerer's Isle. But it will cost you a hundred gold to ride.
Ontar: A Hundred gold, that's highway robbery!
Jimbo: That's the price, no one wants to go there and if you want a ride, that's the cost.
Ontar: Guess we have little choice in the matter.

100 gold sounds pretty reasonable. With our grasping government in this country, they'd probably add 500 more gold to that price as duty, 400 more as tax and still charge VAT on the total. :-)
