Description

I just had to show you this:- This happens a lot in the USA. Does your dog behave himself on the table at shows? Does your dog stand still whilst examined by the judge? Does your dog display with pride and confidence? Does your dog keep still for clipping and grooming? We have the ANSWER to your Problem Show Dog ! In the show ring, your dog may have to remain stacked for twenty minutes or more, depending on the number of exhibits. Make it easy on yourself and your dog, train them on ShowStackers the Show Stacker. The confidence you and your dog will have entering the ring will ensure your show dogs full potential is achieved and on display for all to admire. Our customers consider ShowStackers to be the best kept secret of the show ring. With Show Stackers the Show Stacker on your side, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you have given it your best, and most of all, you will have that winning edge! Get the Winning Edge on your competitors ! Well there you go. I am sorry BUT my girls are my best friends, NO way would I expect them to stand still in the show ring for 20mins. As far as I am concerned if the judge likes my dog, s/he likes it if not well thats a bit of hard luck I am having. There is NO way I would put my girls through standing on those stackers. Mind you showing isn't the B all & end all to me, (thats where I go wrong maybe) I want to show my girls off my way, I always watch what the judge expects & act accordingly. I want them to have a good day out, not stuffed on a bench or cage for hours on end, while I go shopping & drinking. Where I go they go & visa versa. Competetive perhaps NOT BUT if I had to have them standing on them for ages I am glad I am NOT.

WHAT !? Outrageous! My Cairns were all from show stock, and they seemed to stack automatically, even though we only ever entered the RSPCA shows! Your girls, as i have said so often, are very lucky ladies indeed.

One word Wow ! Pretty sure some owners strongly believe this is a answer to the next Big Win. I truly admire your approach Barbara, and you have proven it works just as well as any money grabbing gizmo. You have raised, shown and won many First Place Ribbons, etc. with your fur kids. Well done, you should be very proud of yourself and your Winners.

Your last paragraph says it all!!! I think the two legged handlers should have to stand on a stacker at the same time and for 20 mins.

Barbara, I very much enjoyed this behind the scenes photo and totally agree with your thoughts on show stackers as they appear to be a bit cruel.

I'm surprised that the various intelligence groups haven't used this as their torture de jour device. great capture of what I think is a bad idea. I'm glad your three are treated with love and respect

I don't know anything about showing dogs so... not sure if my first gut reaction is correct. My dogs are just my best friends... hmm.. or maybe closer to my children. My first thought when I saw that thing the dog is standing on was, "oh that's cruel," But, I don't know, maybe the dog likes to do it, I just don't know what to think.

Those look awfully uncomfortable for a short while let alone 20 minutes? Plus there's getting your dog on them in the first place. No dog lover in their right mind would consider using this product. Shame there aren't more of them, rather than putting the dog first, all they care about is winning. Shame on them >:(

Thank you for sharing this disturbing photo and information. I never would have believed such a thing existed if I had not seen it. As others have already mentioned, I am very glad your girls have such a caring and respectful owner.

That looks mean, I wonder how long it takes to get a dog to learn to stand on those and what the procedure is, looks like the dog gets mistreated into learning it. I am glad you don't do this!

That almost looks like a form of torture Barbara - as soon as I looked at this posting - I thought that Barbara would never use that device to train her girls!
