Crashing waves, leaping lava. (Sounds like a book title.) How fascinating to come here after Andrea and see that she saw a garden. This is gorgeous, vibrant, alive. Fantastic! I have to admit, though, that the white dog is a little distracting. I can't un-see him.

Well, thanks a lot, Tara - now I can't un-see the white dog either! He looks a little like Tintin's dog...

I agree it would be wonderful to see it absolutely behemothly-huge...and thanks to Tara now I also can't unsee the white dog! LOL! To me this aerial map is so big that the sun is going down in the west while coming up in the east! Wonderful!

Well the first I saw was the dog face :-) So I am not the only one, HUH? :-) Then I saw some kind of a heart to the left. I guess we will always look after something our mind can relate to.. Something we can recognise :-) But this is an endless beauty in more than one layer. I see a landscape in the background layer and these sunset waves playing with the dog in the forground. It is such a beautiful image again, dear Mark. And the colors are simply wonderful.

Mark has posted the most fabulous shot of the colorful swirling clouds of Jupiter that has ever been recorded and revealed to the general public. Far superior to NASA's futile efforts. An overwhelming motif of agitated blues, greens, magentas, pinks, reds, with abutting blends, in this vast tour de force. I know you made a long voyage to the solar system's largest planet, but eat your heart out, spacecraft Cassini.
