Description

Based on an interesting archeological find in a Greek shipwreck -- a geared machine that, given various user inputs via dial settings, a quite complex gearing mechanism operated to show position of the planets and such for any given date. So, I played with the Booleans and made my own little ancient machine. It isn't accurate to what it looked liked, but the concept is there :-)

Oh, yeah -- I was trying to do a cross-fade from a sort of "tech" drawing to the full-color, but that didn't turn out so well. Oh well, C'est la vie, as they say :-)

I have always kinda wondered about how the earth stays in the sky. At last! The mystery is solved! Great pic.
