Lars, this is one of the most beautiful New Year's presentations I've ever seen. I'm so glad you linked it to Joe Cocker as his passing was a great loss to everyone who enjoyed his music. Have a Happy New Year and I hope to hear from you soon. Keeping you always in my prayers.

Thank you very much for your wishes Lars:) it is GREAT to see You here. Your image is impressive in many ways and the execution and composition are FABULOUS!! All the details are incredible. And I do love Bonsai and its meaning in Life. It is a great deal to create our own Bonsai, but it gives us so much! I have two, since many years ago, but i have not been very well successful with one of them, lately! Thank you very much for the music! I knew another version, not this one. Thanks. I wish that 2015 brings You healing, more tranquility and good news, Lars! All the very best to you!! My thoughts with you!

Lars, I thought I'd commented on this, but I see that I haven't. Usually I know if I haven't commented on an image, but somehow I remembered leaving a long comment on this, and when I came here, I saw I hadn't left a word. My apologies. It was an oversight on my part...sometimes our memory thinks something was 'real' when it was only imagined...I'll write what I felt the first time I saw this. First, the Joe Cocker song is very intense, and feels not only like his yearnings for a perfect journey home, but like everyone's yearning for that place. Ie, a place where all pain is lifted, and all that is left is love. Movingly performed. Thank you for sharing the song. As for your image: You really show your background in design and architecture with pieces like this! It's a big, classically designed interior, with delicate proportions, ornament in just the right amount, your moldings and lintels and detail in the ceiling, the proportions in the windows, your lamps and chandelier...they all show your knowledge and sense of proportion in design. And you have real modern elements too (in the midst of what looks like 17th and 18th C European motifs): The angle of that beautiful wooden floor feels very modern! (Danish modern, in fact!) And the open space and potted trees and even the piano bench are all modern. (I have a piano bench, but it's the traditional "tufted" kind. Yours has clean, clear lines and surfaces.) Fine attention to lamps and lights, too; even the reflections of the room in the glass... It has one of your mythic females, who has an emblem of some kind on her chest. (Can't make it out, but it feels mythic or tribal...) And one of your dragons, who's painting (!!), and I'm not sure what he's painting, but it looks like a portrait. Love that. And then the trees, bonsais and others, growing beautifully in those mini homes (the pots), bringing nature into this classic European hall. And a very modern painting too---another modern touch in this otherwise classical environ. You placed the piano perfectly---it's the center 'draw' of the piece (and a Steinway, lol! you didn't settle for 2d best here! I'd die to have a Steinway in my home!) And she's playing, but looking beyond the room---maybe to all the people you're dedicating this too, or maybe just to someone she loves. Wonderful how she centers us in the image, but looks way beyond it at the same time. You do that in your work---someone or something pointing beyond the frame, beyond the limits of the image... With her naked, and the dragon and the trees, you gave something basic and primal to this cultured European interior. Something transcendent. It feels like all your learning and music and art paying tribute to everyone. Like all your images, it's very suggestive of many things, and it effortlessly combines several worlds under one roof. Even the trees are leaning to the woman...her song has that kind of a call and power: Perhaps she's a medicine woman in disguise, one of the Native American healers who transform everything they touch...This is beautifully done. Beautiful and evocative, as always, and a very delicate tribute. I know 2014 was the most difficult year of your life; and, given all you went through---a lot of it without stop---it's no surprise that it's been so difficult. Just know you've come through a truly difficult experience, and your healing is "on target" for all you've been through. I send all my prayers and healing to you, that it move faster now, and that you begin to feel the dawning of your strength, and rest, and peace. I with that you recover your wholeness in 2015; and that your powers---which are deep, and filled with love---return to you, wholly. This highly elaborate and expressive image is another example of how you've persevered, with the determination of a lion. I'd find this difficult in any circumstance, it's amazing how much you've done in very difficult circumstance. Beautiful dedication, and may it all come back to you ten-fold...

Very detailed and beautiful artwork, Lars! There is so much to see and admire in your scene. The abundance of plants says a lot about this young lady.... brings the room 'alive'! Beautiful dedication as well my Friend. I'm sending you lots of hugs, love and light!
