Im familiar with this image, and St.Jerome..noted for his hatred of women..LOL..nice illustration in the classic style.

i got it :) - Jerome was credited with translating the Bible from Greek and Hebrew into the Vulgate, Latin, the vulgar language of the people.

St.Jerome was a misogynist? That explains the lack of women in this artwork LOL. There is a huge amount of detail here. Time well spent!
