HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!..... Hope we all had a great night and are not feeling too fragile :-) Karen and I spent a quiet night, bottle of wine and a box of chocolates......contemplating what's ahead. I got a date, 7th January, for going into hospital....operation on the 8th. There's no avoiding a very simple fact that the surgeon has made very clear......this is a huge operation.....and there is a VERY small chance I won't survive it.... but a chance non the less. There's nothing I can do about it....they'll put me to sleep and...... I'll wake up ........or I won't. This time last year we knew Karens' Dad was going to die and we were able to prepare ourselves for it....but what do you do with this??? Assume everything will be fine and then have the "rug pulled out from under you"... Assume the worst and hope for the best ??.. I have some difficult conversations to have with family members over the next few days. Not sure if I'll post any more before the day, but I have something for the day I come home.....all I can say is " If nothing appears by the end January, it probably never will....in which case, My thanks to everybody at Renderosity, it's been fun".. ( And there's another problem.... I'm going to look a proper fraud when everything goes fine and I pop back up!!!.....can't bloody win! :-) Ohh yes the Avitar.....there really is nothing to see and as it says "no mater how often you watch it, it will never happen"...but Aunty Rendo may disagree....
