Description
Part of the post storm weather system, captured 12/17/14, mid day, right outside of my congenial condominium complex.
Every dark cloud has a silver lining. This one has legs and is high hurdling over the telephone wires.
Actually, it was clear and cold last night, like 37 degrees Fahrenheit in my patio, which is most unusual for us living near Los Angeles City proper.
Have a nice day, and enjoy the bowl games.

That one looks like it still has quite a bit of moisture still in it; excellent capture of this full galleon, Harry! We've been well below freezing at night for the last couple of days, but it's warming up a bit now with rain expected later today.

I remember when this went up, thinking the cloud is gracefully hurtling over the city...then I saw you say (in your description) that it's hurtling over the wires. Exactly what it's doing. It's almost ballet. Amazing cloud capture, esp as the top of the shot is almost sheer, like a sheet-backdrop. And the 'sheet' contrasts with the blue below it. Another of your from-the-treetops cloud captures, where we only get a smidgeon of the ground level---enough to ground the shot, but little enough to make the clouds the main characters. And the cloud-dancer has one leg over the wires, the other gracefully flying behind. Another wonderful cloud capture from you, Harry.
