BIO
For the longest time, I've been fascinated by the image of humans in art. I spent two years at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and I think I was the only student who really enjoyed Survey. I never studied digital art formally, which is a good thing, in my opinion. However, much of my study into classical art has found its way here. Of course, I don't flatter myself by comparing with the works of Bernini (who would have definitely been rendering had he lived during this time), because I'm only using the human models someone else has already conveniently created for me.

Okay, I realize this is probably totally unexciting to most people here, but I was pleased with the net result. This is a study of unusual environmental lighting - in this case a rainstorm outside the window. My mentor used to tell me that the really good details are the ones you don't notice that make the composition believable. I've striven for that here, with things like water droplets on the windows, gradiated shadows, radiosity of the light and so forth. This is not a terribly obvious piece, but I was not going for that. I hope you don't consider it a wasted click.

Not all that is good is visible, and not all that is visible is good. It was certainly not "a wasted click". Thanks for sharing.

There is a great deal of feeling in this piece. I love the lighting and radiosity. This has a lot of depth of thought and planning. Good work!

Far from wasted, this is a very well done pic. I like it :)

Art doesn't have to be flashy to be good. This has a lot of feeling and you have obviously put a great deal of thought into it. Many could learn from this. Well done indeed.

Stunning and the shadows are incredible...And no, I certainly don't consider it a wasted click. It's very emotional indeed...
