Description

I have to admit that I love the movie The Quick and the Dead that features Sharon Stone, Russell Crow, Gene Hackman and Leonardo DiCaprio. Every time I see it, I learn more. Sharon Stone gives a very enjoyable performance. I wanted to try and recreate her in Daz Studio. I had to mix Wanted Dead or Alive for the shirt and boots with M4 Cowboy for the belt, pants and hat. The vest is actually from the M4 Regency. The gunbelt, holster and gun are from the new G2M Western Outlaw and the Duster is from Optitex's Dynamic Clothing site. I also used the Daz Pony Tail for Genesis. As much as all the items work together, the duster really sells it I believe. I just got the Western Outlaw today as it was on sale for me, but I've been playing with the Duster for about a week. It's taken a lot of input from other Dynamic Clothing artists to get it to where it is now. If you aren't familiar with it, it's more complex than Poser, but the results are amazing and worth the time. Until I had the gunbelt and holster, the right side of the Duster was just normally draped, but with the new gun in place, it had to be pulled back. Since the duster required it to be animated to drape properly, I had the Genesis model's pose at frame 15 and had it hold it to frame 30, but the holster was 2 feet in front of Genesis and didn't start moving into place until frame 15 to 30. You can't see it from here, thankfully, but the duster gets caught inside the belt. Since the shot is from the front, it's not a huge issue. Now, I just need to put a town behind her.
