Description
someone once told me that my art seems "tortured". someone else said my imagery is "esoteric"... i take those seemingly unimportant instances in life and expand on them, figures are not figures but symbolic of those crucial moments we experience on a day to day basis. I suppose it is possible to be tortured without feeling tortured. i lack the ability to see myself from the outside...
I had other images in que, but this seemed more appropriate for the new year.

There is an amazing imagination at play in your images and a unique style. I can see the tortured aspect, but a wonderful playfulness and freedom of expression too - all power to you (and Happy New Year!)

Thanks for your description. That may explain why your artwork is fascinating and unsettling at the same time. It's difficult for me post any sensible comment on any of your artworks but each one has an impact on me.

Your style reminds me of the medieval artworks by Hieronymus Bosch, whose paintings were similarly 'tortured', as you mentioned above. I wouldn't be surprised if his paintings had an influence on your own artwork. I love the foot/hand/spigot figure as the main focus here. Any chance you might make it available as a free download in the future?? Keep up the great work!
