Description
I paid $1.67 per gallon regular gas yesterday. I can barely recall gas being that cheap.
in 1970 on a trip to Mexico I caught a gas war in Texas for 21 cents a gallon. I drove from Tulsa to Monterrey, Mexico for $12.50 and still had a 1/2 tank in my VW Bus

Fuel prices are coming down in the UK too Richard, about £1.11 at the moment. This shot is a warming beauty.

What wonderful, cheerful colors here, Richard! They cheer me up almost as much as the declining gas prices! I never though I'd see it under 2.00 a gallon again. Hope it stays that way by the time spring gets here.

I can remember My grandmother driving to a little town in Oregon to get gas because they were having a gas war. .15 cents a gallon!!!!!
irisinthespring
Awesome capture, and I can't remember it this cheap in many years either. It is running around $185 over on my side of TX, I did not know it was almost 20 cents cheaper in some areas, I did see a commercial the other day for a dime cheaper so I ain't surprised, hope when it goes back up it's in a slow process not all of a sudden, wishful thinking right, lol.

Down to .99p a litre here (our Government slipped ethnic talk into the measurements without asking us here!), you get it a gallon, we are still ripped off here in the U.K. Enjoy the price no matter my friend! Lovely shot Rob
