Description

A sunny summer's day and a hot rodder takes his jalopy coupe for a spin and drives past the old barn in his rural neighborhood. The engine noise startles a buck who stops and stares at what is causing the commotion. Apps used: Daz Studio, Photoshop CC 2014, Corel Painter Essentials 5, ArtRage 4.5.

The background (barn, road, etc) is a digital photo I took this summer with my Nikon D3300. The hot rod is a 1/25th scale diecast model I own. I took a photo of the car with my Sony HX300. The driver is Daz3D's Michael 4. the buck is also from Daz3D. All images where composited in Photoshop and then worked over in Corel Painter Essentials 5 to give a more paintery look. Details were added using ArtRage 4.5 (birds, grass blades, some bushes, clouds). I then added free textures from the web using Photoshop.
