Nice scene, but not the final end. According to survivors, the bow was fully submerged when they finally abandoned ship. As she rolled over, her forward magazine exploded, breaking her hull in two. (This was postulated to have been caused by shells falling from their racks as the ship flipped.)

And what a dramatic way to go! 32 torpedo hits and some 36 dive bomb hits. NO air craft carrier would be able to take such punishment. Yet where are these fantastic ships today? Very good image! I greatly appreciate your ship images. Keep up the good work! :-)
