Description

During my visit to the Society of the Four Arts Garden in Palm Beach, Florida. I found this caladium leaf covered with dew drops. Caladiums are often known by the common name elephant ear. I have seen green, white, pink, and red caladiums but after some research â�� this is a black magic caladium. As a plus, this plant was covered with early morning dew drops. They grow 15 to 35 inches (40 to 90 cm) tall, with leaves mostly 6 to 18 inches (15 to 45 cm) long and broad. It will zoom! Great shot. Don't remember having ever seen plants with leaves of this color. Most unusual. I'd like to imagine that, like the mandrake, this is truly a plant which can be used for sorcerous purposes, as its name suggests. ;)
