Again, just an image today, I will do a long session very soon...but I picked this, and it wasn't an easy pick given how many others call out to me, but it's a blend, something I do a lot of, and man, it's wonderful stuff. The house still dominates, but you've made it almost ivory-like, creamy, with a light inside that is like ivory or some similar substance that has slight translucence. And the light behind it---that rich aqua blue---makes the house stand out so much. And you've contrasted that with bright pinks as "outline," and turned all the foliage into atomized, highly complex 'cellular' stuff---words strain, bear with me---and colored it all in definite islands of hue. It's a patchwork, almost like a patchwork quilt. And your fence---you've bisected it, making two distinct planes: I love it. I really love how you made a luminous nuclear-hued piece out of two very distinct photos. This kind of blend, for me, would take a long time to make 'one'; and this piece feels like a big single tapestry. Beautiful work Claude. And thanks not only for your lengthy and committed comments, yesterday, but also for your suggestions. I almost did post that first piece without a lake on top, I just chickened out. (My apology to chickens...) I appreciated everything you said, and yes, 2 MP shots, when large, aren't very sharp, they may have been too big. And you know, I forget that not everyone has large monitors, so very large pieces necessitate viewing 'in pieces'. All appreciated, as was your essay (in your gallery) on why we should zoom. You know I agree with you on that! Thanks for it all. I'll be back for more soon...
