Shining done.

A wonderful moment amid the sadness Richard. Btw those buildings you thought were shepherds huts are in fact farm buildings, we are so far south here that the sheep do not need shelters as they do farther north.

I like the way you've focused attention to the hands and flag. This is a very moving and powerful photo, Richard.

This brought back a flood of memories from my duties as a young Officer. Although I remember perfectly the rehearsed phrase used when presenting the Flag to the Next of Kin, today, I could not say it without my eyes getting wet. Bless those and their families of the ones that served their Country and especially the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their Country.

Very expressive capture, RIchard. I am truely sorry to learn about the loss. My condolences.. i assume this means, that lung cancer caught up with your brother inlaw.

I'm glad to see that your brother-in-law received a proper military funeral. The least that a nation can do for our vets!
