Description

Inspired by my river walk last night. It was around 10pm when I decided to check things out on the rivers edge. Small pools had frozen but the waters kept on swirling by. Then I felt a kind of uneasiness as if I was being watched. Now I have walked this area for years, but tonight it felt different. The trees and bushes took on a strange eerie look, intensified by the moonlight. I felt as if i were being watched , something different was out there. The local native Americans have stories of the shape shifters and as kids we considered them as real, but as we grew up skepticism took over but for some odd reason the young boy was back and the stories were watching me. I quickly walked back home, occasionly looking back, expecting to see the Lurking Fear. Enjoy!

The watcher in the woods, splendid work nice lighting very cool....yep get the feeling of being watched all the time out in the desert and of course you are, any number of Night time predators wary of intruders into their realm. In this area might be some folks heading north to a hopefully better life or Border Patrol trying to wreck that dream and then of course the Satellites orbiting miles overhead watching everyone.
