Rendertime: too long! 1 day 14 hours (Intel Pentium 4 2,0 GHz)
Nothing new or special I think so far *g*

i like the mat. and the light. looks cool

Nice! The mats are particularly cool. They look like some kind of dice for a board game.
paleus
nifty. like some kind of synthetic cyber ladybug. the realism was worth the time!
shadowdragonlord
Weird, and totally cool! Why the render time? Did you use a million lights or something? Still, it's a crisp clean render...!
Vile
Very nice render, 1 day on a P4 2Gig??? what did you do?

Like it a lot, but 1 day and 14 hours?, how did that happened?, my longest render was my first try at and explosion that took 14 hours, and it is 6 sec. long but it was on my celeron 333 with 64 mb ram, do those materials have a raytreced mix or something?, anyway it looks good.

Ok, here some answers: 93 objects, 327737 polygons (imported 3ds instead of bryce booleans) 9 lights (all max. soft-shadows) premium render with 64 rays per pixel optics: shadows: maximum ray depth is 6 total internal reflection(TIR): maximum TIR depth is 6, too Assuming altogehter You will get that rendertime By the way: I used the Pentium 4 2,0 GHz instead of my AMD Athlon 1,2 Ghz because I have to work with the Athlon otherwise! But I tested it before, using the Athlon the rendertime would be shorter! Not very much but a little bit g Have a nice day

It was time well spent! Look at this great portfolio piece you have... I really like the original textures with those spots!
frndofyaweh
yes, great texture. i see ladybugs. might sound silly, but i love this image! wonder what a p4 2.2gig/256ram would do? would it actually render slower?
Pelican
Only three little spheres but an amazing impression... very unusual and briliant !
