Description

The hitchhiker is picked up by his cousin who has 'borrowed' his Dad's brand new 57 Chevy convertible for a little joy rid into town without his Dad's knowledge. His Dad returns home to find his new car missing and no one around to tell him where it is. He assumes the worst and jumps in his Cessna to start a search. Once airborn, he spots his car heading toward the little town nearby. He alerts the Sheriff who sends a couple cars out to set up a road block. Upon closer inspection of the car, Dad sees it is his son behind the wheel. 'Guess I will have to teach this youngun a little lesson in honesty,' he says to himself. He radios one of the deputies he has identified the thief and that it is his son. But he wants to teach his boy a little lesson. 'Take both boys into custody! A few hours in the hoosecow will do them both a little good. Take my car into town and leave it at your jail. I'll be by to pick it up this evening and thanks much for your assistance.
