Stand from under
This is a shout we had to give when I was in the fire brigade if we were about to throw something down from a height.
The shot was taken yesterday just across the road from my house. The light was bad so I have done a little work on it in Photoshop.
The firm that did the job has branches everywhere and I just hope the chap at the bottom has twigged where this branch is going to fall !!!!
Oh and by the way there was a barking sound coming from the area !

OHH Yes, I saw the same sight 1½ month ago when a little guy was climbing our, at that time very tall tree, near our stonefence. The one you saw the "monday morning" with snow looking like a HUGE bonsai. Remember? I could almost not look at him hanging there near the top and the branches were moving from side to side. Excellent shot.

Great capture at the good moment.

Don't tell me, there is a cat down below with a ladder trying to get him down. Seems like a risky way to make a living. This is a great capture with a certain tension to it.

outstanding capture Jeff. when I was in my 20's I had a man about my age working for me sometimes. for years he would collect mistletoe and sell to the small store chains. when I needed to go on the roof of a business, he could be on top before I could set the ladder against the building. go up with any hand holds he could use

What a challenging job that must be, although with a great view! Excellent shot!

Hey...Here is an idea, why not leave trees alone.. If one falls down, its called nature, it happens.. If you don't like it there, don't move there or move away.. IT was there before you.. OR, don't plant in the first place.. Yes, I am a 'tree hugger'
